Calm is a skill. One that you can teach to your child (even when refining the skill yourself).

Introducing The Calm Method.

The program to help you transform your summer from overwhelming to chill and relaxed!

Are you dreading a long summer filled with endless activities to keep your kids happy?

Feeling overwhelmed at the thought of trying to balance it all?

Our program is designed to help you create a calm, enjoyable summer with your children, even if:

- You’re working full-time

- You never get a break from the kids

- You’ve struggled with self-care practices in the past

Join us and discover how to infuse your summer with mindfulness and relaxation, making it a season of connection and joy for both you and your child/ children.

Does this sound like your summer as a parent?

1. Feeling Overwhelmed: You're juggling endless activities and trying to make sure your kids have a great summer.

2. No Time for Yourself: You're frustrated because you can't find any time for yourself.

3. Getting Stressed: Your stress is mounting, and your patience is wearing thin.

4. Children Misbehaving: Your children are acting out, making things even more challenging.

All you want is to enjoy the summer and see your kids happy. You don't want to feel constantly overwhelmed and stressed. You hate seeing your children struggle and acting out.

What you're experiencing isn't just a scheduling issue or poor behaviour from your children. It's because everyone, including you, is overwhelmed and doesn't know how to find calm and regulate emotions.

This stress and frustration are signals that you and your children need better tools to manage your nervous systems and bring back balance.

The Calm Method offers a solution by teaching practical skills for creating calm amidst the chaos.

Let's dive into these skills together and transform your summer from stress-filled to serene.

About Natasha

When Natasha had children, she always imagined herself to be a really calm and patient parent because she had always been so good with children. She was playful, fun, kind and so patient. These are all attributes that have served her so well in teaching children's yoga. But when it came to her own children, she didn't expect it to be so hard to stay calm - to be the calm especially when the kids were acting anything other than calm.

It was overstimulating, stressful and triggering at times. Natasha could see these extreme behaviours in her children - throwing chairs on the ground, slamming doors and screaming 'I hate you'. And it was hard because she just wanted to be a good parent and she wanted her kids to be happy.

She realised something had to change. It wasn't enough to just work on her own calm and play a few yoga games. Her kids needed help managing stress. They needed to build resilience. She questioned whether she'd been too soft or not firm enough with boundaries or perhaps she should have started doing punishments.... but then everything clicked into place. The problem wasn't actually the behaviour, and it certainly wasn't not being a good enough parent. The problem was they needed more support in managing stress effectively. And Natasha had to teach it to them in a way that resonated. This is how The Calm Method was born.

Not only is Natasha trained in these practices, but she also understands what it's like to have wild children who have struggled (and still have their struggles) with stress. She knows the importance of supporting them while also acknowledging how different it is to support your own children than in a class setting with a teacher student role.

Here is what each module inside The Calm Method is all about:

Module One - This is all about taking care of your calm. In this module I share effective ways to help you come back to balance and feel calm within yourself.

Module Two - This is all about effective check-in techniques. This is where we are practicing self-awareness - awareness around our emotions, energy an thoughts. It's also about techniques to help children anchor back into the present moment.

Module Three - This is a deep dive into the Yoga poses we can use to help our children calm down effectively and how to practice in a way they'll actually want to practice.

Module Four - Possibly my favourite topic, it's all about leveraging the breath. I have so many great breathing practices to share that will help you and your child feel more calm and at peace.

Module Five - Mindfulness and meditation. I share engaging ways you can practice with your child easily no matter the day, making these practices part of your usual routines for more peace and connection.

What ages is this program for?

This is a program for the parents to help them understand and support their child with stress and anxiety, from aged 6 to 13.

Can this method be used for children with ADHD?

As a parent who is on the long long waiting list for her child to get diagnosed (as well as discovering she most likely has ADHD herself), Natasha knows how challenging it can be to calm down and rest with ADHD and also some of the behaviours from her children when they have been in a stress response. This has only made her even more passionate about sharing these practices because yes, they will work for your child too. How do we know that? Because this program is not about giving you the 'one' thing that will change everything, it is about exploring practices that work for your child, your unique child - diagnosed, not diagnosed, any child. We are wanting to meet their needs and support them.

What experience has Natasha got in this area?

Natasha has been working with children sharing yoga and mindfulness practices with them to help support well-being since 2017. This program is about supporting your child with stress and anxiety using yoga and mindfulness techniques. This is not parenting coaching, behaviour therapy - This is about addressing the root of the problem and bringing balance to the nervous system.

We've tried yoga before and it hasn't helped. What makes this different?

Yoga is a practice. The skills we learn in this practice can support us for the rest of our lives. It can help us manage stressful time and still be able to come back into balance. It allows us to ride the waves of life with ease. This is true for any age. But we have to keep showing up. If you do this 6 week program and then do nothing with it..... I'm sorry but it won't help you. You need to do the work, you need to keep showing up, you need to keep practicing. Yoga is a lifelong journey. Our mission here is to give you the tools, everything you need in these 6 weeks, to implement this practice and these coping skills into your life, into your child's life for more inner calm and peace.

Can I get a refund?

If you are not satisfied with the course, Natasha offers a 14 day money back Guarantee. We are confident that you will not need it.

How is this different to Family Yoga Game Night?

FYGN is all about staying consistent with yoga and having fun together. It's focus is on Yoga Games and Play. This is program is about stress management, self-care and regulating the nervous system.

Will this course be run again?

Yes but at a higher price point. As this is the first launch, I am making the price the lowest it will ever be.

How much time do I need to commit to this?

Live calls will be one hour a week for 6 weeks (recording will be available) and then you'll want to carve out time to implement what you learn in your daily routines. Natasha wants to help save you time - less time dealing with behaviour issues and more time connecting and slowing down. There is no exact time frame for how you implement these practices. It could be a few minutes a day, it could be more. It is going to be unique to you and your family. Natasha will help you with easy ways to implement these strategies.
